Electrodeionization (EDI) technology removes residual salts, such as carbon dioxide, silica, ammonia and boron from water sources. The EDI system operates by using electrical current to deionize and polish reverse osmosis (RO) permeate. The system can achieve 97% water recovery without chemical input. It is designed to provide Ultrapure Water for industrial applications including power, semiconductor, microelectronics, food and beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.
